The view from our stern during a beautiful sunset!

March 14th – Today we worked all day filming for our new video that we upload on Sunday..We were a little worried about how it would go since this was the first video that we did 100% on the boat. There were some challenges, we will see how it goes. While talking into the camera we had to make sure we kept the dogs awake otherwise the viewers will hear them snoring lol…We also had to keep the noise down to ensure that Rhys wouldn’t wake up during my voiceover. All in all, I think it went pretty well!

March 15th – Finally day light savings time is in full-swing! This is rather exciting for us since the sun would set a little later. When living in a marina you learn quickly that once the sun goes down so does everyone else! So the sun staying up a little long means some more time to socialize a little longer!

March 16th –The plan was to not drink so we could party it up on St. Pattys day but Jeremiah went ahead and scratched that and had a few glasses of scotch…Now he’s paying for it and Momma is dealing with it!! lol In further news, we got the dingy (Taco) off the deck and took her out for a spin which was so awesome! She runs great and is super fast!! Dogs, baby and mommy can also run around the deck and play!!

March 17th – St. Patty’s day celebrations! Refer to video for a recap 😉

March 18th – We are trying to get all of our medical stuff out of the way like doctors appointments, teeth cleanings and etc. Rhys’ 1 year check up today! I’m sure the neighbors will really appreciate his moodiness today after he comes home from getting his routine vaccinations 🙁 This should be fun!!

March 19th – We got AC! Okay, it might be a temporary AC unit that is taking up part of our salon that now has ownership to the name of R2D2, but hey that’s okay!! It will do until we get out marine grade AC unit in…plus it means the dogs won’t die yet bc of the heat 😉 jk! Insert Gloom and Doom comments here!!

March 20th – Today we met with a family that have been following our journey! Our new friends, Ted and Annette invited us over for a dinner at their lovely home! I need to not forget to have Annette send me her recipes for her pork and shrimp tacos! Plus Stone Crab…WHAT?! What an amazing time with ending by walking out to their dock to watch the sunset…Truly a wonderful time. It’s amazing how many wonderful people we have had the pleasure of meeting so far in our journey.

Hey what video editing program and where do you get your music. Does the mike need a program to help overlay your voice overs? Trying to learn how to edit my videos and voice over. ThanksReplyCancel
